Matilde’s Beauty to My Eyes, Part 1
Ciao! Welcome, everyone, to the first part of my nude art model shoot at Showroom Orodi in Limbitate (MB) featuring the beautiful model Matilde Fantini.

In this series, you’ll see the results of what is, at this stage, a well-established technique: using my DIY filter in a backlit scenario so that the final look is almost entirely achieved during the shooting phase—preserving most of the image quality.

This creative shooting technique also speeds up the editing process. Even during a hectic week when I had to divide my energy among many tasks, I managed to edit these seven nude art portraits in time.

But not all of my creative techniques involve that DIY filter or are converted to black and white—there’s so much more in store.

Now that I think about it, have I already told you about all the tricks I’m experimenting with? Probably not—so this is the very first time I’m showing you what I can achieve with a bit more creative freedom.

I must reveal that instead of having just one or a few methods for creating these portraits, I now have a veritable prairie of possibilities.

As Thomas Kuhn theorized, when a great paradigm shift occurs—like the transition from film to digital photography—something valuable from the old ways is often left behind, forgotten, or wasted.

That’s why I’m exploring all the old film-era shooting tricks that serve as my grimoire, guiding me toward unique and beautiful results. These results require effort: a low keeper rate, manual focus, many mistakes—but the reward comes in the few outstanding shots and the fact that international magazines are beginning to notice my work.
Wait what? Wich magazines? You didn’t know? Well, that’s probably because you haven’t yet subscribed to my Machina newsletter or listened to the latest episode of FC Talk, my podcast.
Subscribe and follow me on your preferred platform, and soon you’ll know which international magazines will be publishing my work next month, along with all the exciting activities I’m involved in or planning.
Stay safe, stay creative.
