Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis (of the Peter Gabriel era), Queen, Mike Oldfield, U2, where my invisible schoolmates in that liceum of Catania where I’ve attended my 5 years of liceo scientifico. Only in the late years, when I’ve been allowed to spend weeks of the summer with friends, beyond that era, I’ve met other rock legends and amplyfing my taste in music with groups like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, RUSH, Iron Maiden, Metallica and the whole host - close to my heart - of the Grunge wave, above all Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. This is only a generic list of all I’ve listened, but those names has been the most important to me.

Those were the years of trench life living with my old friends, before the spark of my first true passion: my love for Tolkien’s storytelling. Those were also the years of first kissing and fleeting relationship with some girl and the expectations I had to meet as a son ending my highschool ad better as I could.

The foundation stones of my creative personality, these musical masterpieces always resonate within my free spirit, offering both comfort and guidance in difficult times.
